Hyperrealism Nano Hairstrokes

Hyperrealism Nano Hairstrokes

Hyperrealism Nano Brows refers to the most advanced technique in cosmetic tattooing, designed to achieve exceptionally realistic and natural-looking eyebrows. This method involves using a specialised machine with an ultra-fine nano needle to deposit pigment into the skin’s surface. The process creates incredibly detailed, hair-like strokes that closely resemble the texture and pattern of real eyebrows.

Hyperrealism Nano Brows aim to mimic the intricacies of natural eyebrows, providing clients with a highly precise and authentic result. This technique is popular for those seeking a more lifelike 3D and sophisticated approach to eyebrow enhancements, emphasizing a meticulous and realistic appearance.

Hyperrealism Nano Brows (also known as Machine hairstrokes) and microblading are two of the most popular techniques for achieving natural-looking, fuller eyebrows, but they differ in the method, results, and longevity of the treatments. Understanding these differences can help you choose the best option for your eyebrow enhancement needs.

Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) uses a purpose-built digital tattoo machine equipped with a fine needle to implant pigment into the correct depth of the skin in precise, 3D hair-like strokes. This technique allows for more control, creating ultra-fine and realistic strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brow hairs. The machine provides a smoother, more consistent result and is suitable for all skin types, especially for those with oily skin or larger pores. Machine hairstrokes tend to last longer than microblading, typically lasting 1 to 3 years, depending on individual skin and aftercare.

Nano Microblading, on the other hand, now an outdated procedure, involves a manual, hand-held tool with a row of tiny needles that forms a “blade”.  This creates small incisions in the skin and deposits pigment into the dermis. This technique is known for creating fine, crisp hair-like strokes, making it ideal for those wanting minor tweaks to their eyebrows. Microblading is typically better suited for individuals with normal to dry skin, as the strokes will blur and fade more quickly on oily skin. Microblading results typically last 6 to 18 months before requiring a touch-up.  Microblading strokes cannot be overlapped, hence a one dimensional look is achieved, which looks less natural when completing a full brow.

Key Differences Between Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) and Nano Microblading:

  • Technique: Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) uses a digital machine, while Nano Microblading is a manual method. It’s also much more comfortable and painless in comparison to Nano Microblading.  Most of my clients fall asleep during the procedure.
  • Longevity: Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) last longer (1 to 3 years), while Nano Microblading lasts 6 to 18 months.
  • Skin Type: Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) are ideal for all skin types, including oily skin, whereas microblading is better for normal to dry skin.
  • Precision and Control: Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) offer more precision and consistent results – the machine can be set at the perfect depth for the individuals skin thickness/type.  While Nano Microblading depth and control is at the mercy of the Brow technician, and if not done correctly creates more blurred strokes over time.
  • Results: Both techniques provide a fuller brow look, Hyperrealism Nano Brows (Machine Hairstrokes) hands down is the best, up to date method.  They have more longevity, are more realistic, less trauma and all round better results than Microblading.

With every Cosmetic Tattooing procedure, there is a 2- Step process that is important to complete to get the ultimate results for your wonderful new brows. Step 1 and Step 2 are usually 4-6 weeks apart, they consist of the initial procedure, followed by the touch up appointment.

STEP 1:

The initial procedure takes approximately 3.5 hours. During this time, you will be numbed to ensure a painless procedure, a choice of pigment type and tone will be chosen and ‘mapping’ of the brows will be defined for your approval.  I do not proceed with the procedure until both parties are 100% happy. Although most of us do not have perfectly symmetrical faces (one side is usually flatter than the other) I do my very best to create as much symmetry as possible!

Once you are satisfied with the shape and symmetry, you get to relax as I complete the brows using the pigment agreed upon, using a digital machine.  I numb through the process to keep your comfortable also.  At times I may ask you to sit up, so as I can assess areas that require tweaks.

After the procedure is complete, you will be explained your aftercare process and given your aftercare kit complete with everything you need.  Your touch up appointment will be made at this time.

STEP 2:

The second stage of the treatment is a TOUCH-UP appointment. The touch up timing depends on several factors – how well your brows held during the healing process/whether you’re wanting fuller or darker brows etc. It can take approximately 1.5-2.5hours.  It’s imperative that the touch-up be done in this time, no earlier (for skin healing) and no later as we want to ensure the procedure and pigment is retained and reinstated.  After this procedure is completed you are now on your way to carefree brows!  It’s recommended to come back in for a touch-up appointment once your brows have faded approx 70% out.  This ensures we’re not oversaturating the brows with pigment, and hair strokes remain crisp.  The timing purely is dependent on your skin and your care of the brows (avoiding sun/wearing sunscreen/topical avoidance of exfoliants etc) this could range anywhere between 1-3 even 4 years.
